On Election Day 2018, Malcolm Kenyatta, a third-generation activist from North Philadelphia, is campaigning to become a Pennsylvania State Representative in the 181st District--a district with a 26% deep poverty rate. He hopes to make history by becoming the first openly LGBT candidate of color elected to state office in his state.
